Common questions


How do I unlock premium features in a MYkira app?

Open the app, tap any premium tab, and the paywall shows your options — typically a Monthly subscription, a Yearly subscription, and a Lifetime one-time unlock. Purchases are handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play.


My purchase isn't appearing

On the paywall screen, tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID or Google account you used when you originally bought.

If that doesn't work, email us with:

  • Which MYkira app
  • Your platform (iOS or Android)
  • Approximate date of purchase
  • A screenshot helps

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not by us. Cancel any time:

  • iPhone / iPad: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
  • Android: Play Store app → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

Your subscription stays active until the end of the current period, then doesn't renew.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are issued by Apple or Google, not by us:

  • iOS: reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Android: Play Store → Account → Purchase history → tap the purchase → Refund

If your reason involves something we did wrong (e.g., a calculation bug), email us first — we'll help directly and fix the broken feature rather than just refund.

My data — where is it?

On your phone. MYkira apps don't transmit your inputs anywhere. If you uninstall the app, your data is removed along with it. See our Privacy Policy for the full version.


Found a bug, want a feature, hate something

  • Which app + version
  • What happened
  • What you expected to happen
  • Screenshot if visual

Every bug and feature request goes into our backlog. We don't promise we'll build everything, but we promise we'll read it.

Calculator answers don't match my bank's quote


Two reasons this happens most often:

  1. Banks use slightly different rounding on amortization. Our numbers match conceptually but the last few ringgit may differ. We round to standard cents.
  2. Loan type matters. Malaysian car loans signed after the Hire Purchase Amendment Act 2026 use reducing-balance (EIR). Older loans use flat rate. Make sure the in-app toggle matches your contract type.
